Before the pumpkins expire I wanted to paint them again. And the two pears I bought to eat…well paint them too. The general guideline is an odd number of objects is better/more interesting than an even number of objects. I wanted to challenge that in these compositions. It’s the same two pears in each painting–just portrayed differently to suit the paintings.
